Passwords, documents and the things your family would need if you weren't there. Kept on a device in your home. Not on anybody's server, including ours.
We cannot open your vault, and we cannot recover it for you. There is no "forgot password" link, because there is no account and no copy of your data anywhere but this device. That is the entire point of the product, and it is also the one thing that can go badly wrong.
So the very first thing you will do is write down your recovery words. The device will not let you store anything until you have. It will feel like being nagged. It is the most important two minutes you will spend with it.

| Work anywhere | Power cut, dead router, one bar of signal. It never needed the internet. |
Read 01 Setting up and 06 Recovery. Everything else can wait until you need it. Those two cannot.
