Which Vault do you have?

You've arrived without a device — most likely from the code on the box. Pick yours and we'll show you the right instructions.

Already unboxed it? Scanning the code on the Vault's own screen is better still — that one knows its exact version and brings you the matching manual.

The whole of it
  1. Read this page on a computer or a second phone. In the next step your phone leaves your normal Wi-Fi and joins the Vault's own network, which takes it offline. That is intended — the Vault has no internet connection by design. Keep these instructions somewhere that will still be readable.
  2. Scan the Wi-Fi code on the Vault's screen and join. The screen shows several codes in rotation, changing every few seconds. The first one joins Wi-Fi; the second is the address to open. Wait for the one captioned “Scan to join Wi-Fi”, or swipe to it if your model has a touch screen.
  3. Open http://192.168.4.1 in your browser and follow the setup. That is the whole installation — there is no app to install and no account to create.

Nothing to download. The Vault runs its own setup page from the device itself.
